Banana cake

125g of butter softened
1 cup of sugar2
egg beaten
11/2 cups of self raising flour
2 bananas mashed

Pre heat oven to 180c. Place butter sugar in a bowl
of an eclectic mixer and beat until light and creamy.
Gradually add eggs and beat well sift flour into mixture
add banana and stir.Place in cake tin lined with baking
paper and bake for 30-40mins or until it is cooked inside.

One a penny two a penny hot cross buns







30g dried yeast
1/4 cup sugar
4 cups plain flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon mixed spice
1 teaspoon salt
60g butter
1/2 cup sultanas
11/2 cups of milk




flour paste for crosses

1/2 cup plain flour
2 teaspoons sugar
no more than 1/3 cup water

glaze

1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon water

This recipe was borrowed from a Margareta Fulton's cook book
1. Preheat oven to 180 cream yeast with 1 teaspoon
each of the sugar and flour add lukewarm milk, mix well.
Cover, stand in warm place 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture
is frothy. Sift flour, salt, sugar and spices, rub in butter, add
beaten eggs, sultanas and yeast mixture, beat well.
2. Cover bowl with a clean cloth, stand in a warm place
for 40 minutes or until dough doubles in bulk. Punch
dough down, turn onto a floured surface, knead well
until the dough is smooth.
3. Cut dough into three equal pieces, cut each piece
into five smaller pieces, making 15 hot cross buns in
total. Knead each into a round bowls. Put buns in a
lightly greased tray, stand in a warm place 10 to 15
minutes or until buns have reached a height.
4. Sift 1/2 a cup of flour with 1/3 of cup of water.
Fill a small plastic bag with a hole across the corner.
Pipe crosses on each bun. Bake in the oven for around 30 mins or until browned lightly.
As soon as they come out of the oven brush with glaze made by dissolving
1 teaspoon of sugar with a small amount of water in a pan on the stove.

stars with a little spice

they cookies are great to make at Christmas all you need is:

1 cup plain flour
1/2 brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp mixed spice
75g butter , chopped
1/4 cup golden syrup or honey

Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper.Sift flour ,sugar spices into
a large bowl .Using fingertips, rub in butter until mixture resembles coarse
breadcrumbs. Add golden syrup and mix to form a soft dough . Turn dough
onto a lightly floured surface knead 1-2 minutes, or until dough is smooth .
Cover with plastic wrap and chill in fridge for half an hour .preheat oven to
180c with fan. Roll dough on a lightly floured surface until 5mm thick. Using
cookie cutters, cut out shapes and place on the trays let them sit for 10 minutes.
Bake for 10 minutes or until pale golden .

this is a no.1 pizza that you'll haft to love Italian style the way i was razed
you haft to have use organic wholemeal mountain bread
you can use pasta sauce tomato paste but be careful
which one you choose because some of them aren't
the best trust me I've tried them . you need a red
capsicum mushrooms some tomato's olives and
mozzarella cheese .Take your mountain bread and put it on a
clean baking tray use the back of a spoon and spread the sauce
over the mountain bread slice your mushroom slice your capsicum
and your tomato add they olives of your choose grate cheese
and to the top of the place in 180c for 15 minutes or until mozzarella
cheese has melted take it out of they oven put it on a plate
cut your pizza and walla it' finito finished.

strawberry and banana biscuits




Just think of something fruity and Delicious ............ and guess what I've invented it strawberry and banana biscuits


11/2 cups of wholemeal flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tsp of baking powder
12og of butter
1 tsp of vanilla essence
4 bananas
1/4 of a cup of milk


Preheat oven to 180c mix together the flour and 1/3 of the cup of sugar
and the baking powder. Melt the butter and the rest of the sugar under medium heat until the butter is melted then add the vanilla essence and simmer for a minute mix the dry ingredients together add the butter and
mix gradually add the milk chop the straw berries and bananas very finely
and add to the mixture . Line a baking tray with non sticking baking paper
roll mixture into balls flatten lightly and bake for 15 minutes.

coconut cake

125g of butter
3/4 cup of sugar
4 eggs
2 cups of coconut
1 cup of self raising flour




process butter and sugar until light and fluffy.Add eggs, and beat well.
Fold in coconut and sift in flour.Spread in a cake tray. Preheat oven to 180 c
bake for 40 minutes test with skewer .ENGOY

Riley's rock cakes
2 cups of wholemeal flour
1 1/2 tsps of baking powder
3/4 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of olive oil
1 cup of sultanas
2 eggs beaten


Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, then rub in olive oil,
add sultanas and eggs. Preheat oven to 180 c line a baking
tray with non sticking baking paper bake for 25 minutes or
until lightly brown.
